College Students
I work with college students who are entering a new phase of independence and self-growth.
While this time can be exciting, it can also be overwhelming to navigate how to do all of the new things at once without daily guidance from parents.
Once students adjust to college, then comes the pressure of what happens when this is all over and they need to figure out:
-
where do I move to?
-
what type of job do I want?
-
how do I get there?
All of these twists and turns can result in the emergence of mental health concerns, or exacerbation of underlying issues.
My approach is to understand where you are in your journey, provide support and empathy through the process, and work with you to find relief from what is troubling you. All while building skills and tools to manage the pressures of day to day life.
